Retired Art Instructor Gina Taccolini Lindberg will be teaching a series of drawing classes beginning Saturday, November 21, at 1:00 PM in Studio 1 at Peter White Public Library. Come early! Lunch will be provided for participants beginning at 12:15.
The series, “You can Learn to Draw: Secrets Revealed!” will be aimed at teaching drawing principles to high school students and adults. All supplies will be provided, and participants will be taking a packet of information and supplies home to use for practicing their newly acquired drawing skills!
Gina is a retired art teacher who taught K-12 art in the Ewen-Trout Creek School district for 30 years, after teaching in Marquette for three. She ended her career by teaching in Florida for several years. After retiring and returning to Marquette, she wants to share her knowledge with anyone who believes they can’t draw. There will be more to learn about Gina in the next Kiosk!
“I am excited for this opportunity to share my passion for Art and its importance, instilling creativity into the Hearts that want to be reminded of a gift they always had.”
Some people are born teachers, and Gina is one of them!
The classes are free to the public but limited to 30 participants. Pre-registration is requested by emailing Lynn at lbuckbrown1@gmail.com
