This is cool! This is an historic Art on the Rocks advertisement that appeared in Time magazine, July 22, 1966, Vol. 88, No.4. There were four different art fairs that were chosen from different regions of the country sponsored by The Northern Natural Gas Company. You can see the full ad by clicking the image or going to https://time.com/vault/issue/1966-07-22/page/48/ Does anyone out there have a copy of this issue saved? We would be interested in having it for our archives. Please email Diane Kordich at dkordich@nmu.edu

Thank You to the Mystery Man who dropped off all his Econo slips at the Deo Gallery in the box on the bench.

Save your Tadych’s Econo Foods Marketplace register grocery receipts from any year. We participate in the store’s “We Share” program and can receive 1% of the total of receipts that we turn in. That's right, Econo will give 1% of the total register receipts to LSAA when turned in twice a year according to their instructions. This is FREE MONEY! Save your receipts AND send to LSAA, Inc., P.O.Box 9, Marquette, Michigan 49855, or put them in the drop box at the Deo Gallery. This could result in $500-$4,000 a year and free P.R. in the Mining Journal.
