On September 15th, The Board of Directors and volunteers held the Lake Superior Art Association’s Annual Membership Meeting.
The Annual Meeting was organized and set up by a fantastic team of volunteers.
Beginning at 6pm, President John French welcomed attendees, asked everyone to renew their memberships, and invited everyone to enjoy some light refreshments, catered by the talented Roxanne Cooks.
For the next half-hour, members mingled and visited and relaxed.
At 6:30, the meeting was called to order. Among other items of business, the group voted to install a new slate of officers:

Events Committee Chair Lynn Buckland-Brown presented a calendar of planned events.
Treasurer Mary Jane Lynch went over LSAA’s financial position.
Art on the Rocks Director Lex Exworthy provided a detailed recap of the 2026 event
The meeting drew near the close with a door prize draw as we gave away some amazing donated prizes.
Cindy Deo, long time member and mega-supporter, took the first draw and chose this stunning canvas print, donated by the 2026 Art on the Rocks Best of Show winner Andy Van Schyndle.
