She was the editor of the Kiosk and our previous website.  Nancy Lynne Vanerka, age 55, of Chocolay Township, MI, passed away Friday, August 19, 2022, at home, in the loving and comforting care of her family and UP Home Health and Hospice.Born August 7, 1967, in LaGrange, Illinois, a daughter of Douglas Fred and Dorothy Jean (Splinter) Vanerka, Nancy was raised in Hinsdale and Oak Brook, Illinois. ART ON THE ROCKS WEEKEND: FRIDAY, JULY 29, 2022, 2-4:30pm/Reception at 5pm The Lake Superior Art Association celebrated their 70th anniversary, as well as the 62nd  anniversary of Art on the Rocks! The celebration was held on July 29th at Father Marquette Park, which was the site of the first few Art on the Rocks Art Fairs! The celebration was open to all community members of all ages, with plein air painting outdoors. There were four different art fairs that were chosen from different regions of the country sponsored by The Northern Natural Gas Company.
