On Exhibit during April, 2023 at the Deo Gallery This exhibition showcases a body of work from student graphic designers in The School of Art and Design at Northern Michigan University. First-level through senior level coursework and some independent projects are included. The work addresses a wide conceptual range from advocacy, to typographic experimentation, to menu rebranding and layout design. These exhibitors are studying graphics to complete degrees in Art and Design, with studio concentrations in Graphic Design, Illustration, and Photography. Elizabeth Gartner Howe Luminosity Workshop

Join artist Elizabeth Gartner Howe at 6:30p.m. on January 17th at the Marquette Arts and Culture Center for a workshop on luminosity in painting. We will discuss getting luminosity in painting. We'll talk about oils and watercolor, but focus on acrylics and glazes vs opaque, the importance of what each can do, and we will experiment with the techniques that Elizabeth demonstrates.
