The Art Talk on January 30th will be held in the Shiras Room at Peter White Public Library at 6:30. The topic will be Group of Seven. Lynn Buckland-Brown will be the presenter. Marquette County Area High School Artists have their work on display at the Deo Gallery. Elizabeth Gartner Howe Luminosity Workshop

Join artist Elizabeth Gartner Howe at 6:30p.m. on January 17th at the Marquette Arts and Culture Center for a workshop on luminosity in painting. We will discuss getting luminosity in painting. We'll talk about oils and watercolor, but focus on acrylics and glazes vs opaque, the importance of what each can do, and we will experiment with the techniques that Elizabeth demonstrates.
