The public is welcome to this January 9th event that begins at 6:30, in the Shiras Room at the Peter White Public Library. Mary Brodbeck is a Michigan artist who, since 1988, has studied, implemented, and taught the traditional methods of a Japanese woodblock printmaking process called Mokuhanga. The Zen-like qualities of her stylized Great Lakes landscapes have received critical acclaim in both Japan and the United States. Be sure to put this event on your calendar. Mary will be showing some of her exquisite work and explaining the traditional printmaking process.

LSAA Programs are held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month, at 6:30 pm (January-May and Sept-Oct) at the Marquette Arts & Culture Center on the lower level of the Peter White Public Library, 217 North Front St., Marquette. LSAA programs are free & open to the public. We are ALWAYS searching for someone to share their special talents with us!
