May 3rd, 1-3 pm The Heritage Room of the Peter White Public Library.

Join artist Jenny Cho for a hands-on workshop about traditional Korean Hanji paper art.  Learn how to tear, shape, and arrange this special hand-made Mulberry paper to create a Lotus Plate. The lotus flower symbolizes hope, virtue, and wisdom in life. A short film presentation about Korean Hanji art sets the background for how Hanji paper is made and used in modern as well as traditional art forms.

A $20 fee covers materials.
