Colleen Maki will lead a class for artists who want to channel a bit of Matisse and his unique art form.
The class will begin with an introduction to Matisse, along with examples of his work. Much of Matisse’s Art dealt with color and shape psychology. You’ll explore how colors and shapes affect thoughts and emotions as you assemble your own piece of Matisse-influenced Art. Sponsored by the Lake Superior Art Association on November 8, 1:00-4:00 pm in Studio One of the Peter White Public Library.
The class is limited to 20 participants and the fee is $38. Please register below.
