The Lake Superior Art Association held their annual all members’ meeting on Tuesday, September 12th. The general membership voted to accept newly updated bylaws, and approved the slate of new Executive Board members.

This year, the meeting was more of a celebration. Incoming President Lynn Buckland-Brown organized a potluck dinner, along with door prizes.

Out going president Michele Tuccini received a standing ovation in appreciation of her many years of dedication and service to the arts community in general, and the LSAA especially.

Special recognition was also given to out going Vice President Rene Michaud. Rene has provided invaluable support and friendship to Michele over the past few years.

A big shout-out went to Member-at-Large, Diane Kordich. Diane has devoted a great amount of her time -and tears- helping the LSAA grow. She’s organized and catalogued many of the LSAA’s historical documents, she spearheaded a committee to update the bylaws, she was a driving force behind this very website, along with many, many other smaller projects.

The members of the LSAA thank the officers -past, present, and future- for their service!
