Get Ready for the 2024 Fresh Coast Plein Air Festival!
This year, we have also added an “Afterglow” Event on Sunday, June 30. The seventh annual Fresh Coast Plein Air Painting Festival and Competition will be held throughout Marquette, Michigan on Friday & Saturday, June 28 and 29. The festival, presented by Lake Superior Art Association, is part of the “Grand Finale” of the City of Marquette’s Art Week. Art Week is a week-long celebration of Marquette's creative community held during the last full week of June, featuring a wide range of community art projects, installations, performances, and more. 2024 Mackinac Island Lilac Festival Poster Competition
2023 Winners, from left to right: Kevin Barton, Erynn Rice, Kristy McNelly Mackinac Island Tourism is delighted to announce the 2024 Lilac Festival Poster Contest. The winning entry is a central part of the annual Mackinac Island Lilac Festival and is printed as a poster to be sold at Mackinac Island businesses. Artists are invited to submit artwork for the Lilac Festival Poster Contest and a Peoples’ Choice Award. Artists may submit one piece of artwork for a $20 entry fee. Submit artwork at 9.75" wide by 12" tall in full color. Only print quality, vertical images will be considered. Up to 6 submissions per artist allowed.
