Call for STUDENT ARTISTS: DOG DAYZ of WINTER ART

Grades K-8 BOTH PUBLIC & HOME-SCHOOLED

A new addition to this year’s events is an opportunity for students to join Marlene Wood for an open house art class on February 3rd, 1 – 4:00 pm. at the Peter White Public Library, Studio #1 in the lower lever.  The art supplies will be provided.

ARTWORK DROP-OFF
Wednesday, February 14th 2:00 PM 6:00 PM
Lower Level of Peter White Public Library

The show takes place on Saturday, February 17th to coincide with the UP200 Dogsled Race (15th-19th). The schedule for this year will be:

Drop Off Art: Wednesday, February 14th  2:00-6:00 pm.

The Reception: February, the 17th from 1:00-3:00 pm.

The show will hang in the library for two weeks which allows for a wide variety of viewers.  The artwork Pick Up is on Friday, March 1st  3:00-6:00 pm.”

Artwork requirements:

  • Must be labeled with:
    Artist First & Last Name
    Grade
    School Name/Home
  • 2D Art needs to be mounted on construction paper with one-inch border to help hang.
  • Any 3D art will be on tables.

Artwork Pick-Up Friday, March 1st 3pm to 6pm
